Required Documentation
The law in Jamaica requires the couple to be on the island at least 24 hours prior to the wedding.
The legal age of consent in Jamaica is 18 years. Non-English speaking passport holders must have documents translated prior to the wedding.
The wedding date and time must be confirmed in advance.
What's Needed:
- Notarized photocopies of the bride and groom's birth certificates
- Government ID- Drivers License-Passport
- Notarized photocopies of divorce decree (if applicable)
- Letters refuting any lawful impediment(proof of marital status for bride and groom)
- Notarized photocopies of death certificates (if applicable)
- When sending the notarized copies of the required documents, please send:
- Your Bridal Cover Letter
- Date of Arrival
- Date of Departure
- Contact Information, Name, address, telephone, mobile/skype/facebook.
- Occupation of bride/groom
- Wedding date, package and time requested
Other required information will be taken upon arrival.
Financial Requirements
- A deposit must be made for wedding dates up to 12 months.
- Full payment for weddings dates up to 6 months.
- Venue Fee must be paid to secure date. For additional information speak to your resort representative.
- Discounts on Venue Fee is available based on number of rooms the weeding party books at the resort.
